: Several openings exist for experienced Systems Engineers to join the technical program management team on the W88 ALT 370 / ALT 940 programs\. Successful candidates will work closely with the Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager to develop and execute technical program management initiatives\. Typical activities include providing technical expertise in the development of program plans, providing technical input to and oversight of schedule and budget recovery plans, collaborating with outside agencies in the negotiation of technical scope, collaborating with PRTs to evaluate courses of action and down\-select based on program constraints, representing the Program Manager at program reviews and customer interaction, collaborating with the technical teams in Systems and PRTs in development and preparation of briefings, POAMs, reports and other outward\-facing communications, interacting with customers to provide technical updates, answer actions and develop new program management processes and plans of action to address customer concerns and needs\. In addition to consistent, effective performance in previous technical roles, candidates will be evaluated on their leadership potential as well as their abilities to develop and maintain influential relationships across a wide range of organizational interfaces\. These positions have high visibility and exposure to executive\-level leadership at Sandia and our external partners, including KCNSC, LANL, NNSA and the Navy\.
