A Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program in Interdisciplinary Scientific Computation will take place at Ohio Wesleyan University from May 22 through July 28, 2017 (10 weeks). Research projects are available in astronomy, computer science, mathematics/statistics, neuroscience, and physics. We are particularly targeting students who have not had an intensive research experience and who are considering a career in a scientific field. Students from groups that are underrepresented in physics research are especially encouraged to apply.
Additional information about our program, including descriptions of the individual research projects and an online application, can be found on our REU website (http://reu.owu.edu/). Questions can be directed to Dr. Robert Haring-Kaye either by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or by phone (740-368-3774). Review of applications will begin on March 6 and will continue until all positions are filled.
