: Sandia's Information Systems Analysis Center has a systems\-assessment post\-doctoral appointment opening for an exceptional physicist or engineer to perform research and development activities related to ion and electron beam, laboratory capabilities\. We are seeking candidates with a strong, applied background in beam physics and sample interactions\. Successful candidates will also be familiar with integrated circuit design, layout and IC failure analysis techniques\. Meticulous attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to function on a multidisciplinary team are highly prized\. On any given day, you may be called on to: + Partner with a team of physicists, electrical engineers and chemists to research and develop novel beam techniques for information systems analysis and assessment\.+ Develop focused ion beam capabilities approaching the 10 nM range\.+ Perform laboratory experimentation, testing and characterization\.
