Physics: Materials, Physics: Optics and Laser, Physics: Physics
The REU program at the University of Oregon offers exciting research projects for undergraduates interested in Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Chemistry, Optics and Materials Science. Faculty advisors are active in the study of the structure, reactivity and thermodynamics of materials in addition to the characterization of their electronic and optical properties. Research groups consist of faculty and graduate students from the Chemistry and Physics Departments who guide undergraduate participants in the program. Each participant receives a $5000 stipend plus room and board and travel expenses to UO.
